Unmatched payments. Four status dimensions: match · witness · standing ·
duplicate, with rail as a column because it has no dominant value. The total
is what left the account, fees included, because the board is about the account;
the fee sits in its own column since it must not be credited against a payable when the
row gets matched. Match bands are none, one and several rather than
has-candidates: with only an amount and a date to go on, ambiguity is the common
failure here, not absence. Explained rows keep their place and their money: an
explanation is not a resolution, and the payment is still out. Nothing is ever
dismissed.
